SPECIAL PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES - COVID 19

SPECIAL PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES - COVID-19

Like everyone else we here at Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel are monitoring the Coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak and doing what we can to protect the health and well-being of our customers and staff.
At this time we are continuing to conduct funeral services however we are limited to allowing a maximum of 10 attendees. In addition,no food or beverages can be offered or consumed in the funeral home. As this point we cannot be certain if or when such practices may have to change. We encourage you to call the funeral home to confirm the specific arrangements for the services you are interested in.
In addition, for the foreseeable future, we will be taking certain precautions to help ensure the health and peace of mind of all of those entering our funeral home. We wanted to share these with you and ask for your cooperation in trying to keep everyone safe.
Hand sanitizer will be available for use. We encourage you to use it and to wash your hands regularly.
We will be doing our best to regularly disinfect the common areas in the funeral home, especially those things we all touch like door handles, counters, and hand railings.
Seating for services will be limited as, where possible, we are moving chairs apart to limit personal contact.
If you wish to send a condolence or pledge a memorial donation, we encourage you to do so on our website or by telephone.
While we certainly understand the importance of coming here to support family or friends at a time of loss, if you are feeling unwell, having flu-like symptoms, or running a fever, please stay home until you have recovered. We are asking the same of our staff.
We thank everyone for their understanding as we continue to monitor this evolving situation and determine the best way to protect everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
